The Opportunity

As we look ahead to new and expanding client opportunities in 2027, FCG is seeking an experienced PR Manager who can lead integrated communications strategy, planning, and execution for consumer-facing brands.

This full-time role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on communications leader who can translate business priorities and audience insights into integrated programs that bring together earned media, paid amplification, social media, influencer engagement, community engagement, and experiential moments to drive measurable business, brand, reputation, and engagement results.

We're looking for someone who understands that audiences are not monolithic and knows how to develop culturally relevant communications that connect with priority consumer segments.

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on communications leader who can turn business priorities and insights into integrated programs that connect with priority audiences. Experience developing communications for general market and multicultural consumer segments is strongly preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Lead integrated PR strategy and annual, quarterly, and campaign planning, aligning communications priorities to client business objectives and KPIs.
  • Translate business goals, consumer and cultural insights, market priorities, and reputation needs into clear communications strategies and executable plans.
  • Bring together earned media, paid placements and amplification, social media, influencer engagement, community engagement, and experiential activations against a shared strategy.
  • Lead earned media strategy and storytelling, including proactive pitching, media relationship building, spokesperson support, and issues response.
  • Partner with social, influencer, paid, creative, experiential, and other specialists to shape briefs, channel strategies, content approaches, creator partnerships, and amplification recommendations.
  • Identify culturally relevant stories, partnerships, community moments, and market opportunities that strengthen brand relevance and resonate with priority audiences.
  • Serve as a day-to-day strategic PR counselor to client and account leadership, proactively bringing forward ideas, opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
  • Own PR workstream timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless, high-quality execution.
  • Measure integrated PR performance and translate results into clear insights that demonstrate what happened, why it mattered, what business objective it supported, and what should happen next.
  • Use performance data, market intelligence, and learnings to continually optimize strategy, channel mix, audiences, messaging, and investment.

What You Bring

  • 5\+ years of public relations, integrated communications, or related experience; agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated PR strategies that connect earned, paid, social, influencer, community engagement, and experiential tactics.
  • Strong Atlanta and Georgia media relationships and working knowledge of the market's media, cultural, community, and civic landscape.
  • Experience developing culturally relevant communications for priority consumer segments.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect communications strategy and performance to business KPIs and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience developing strategic plans and translating them into clear workstreams, timelines, briefs, and deliverables.
  • Strong client counsel, presentation, relationship-building, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience with consumer, retail, or other high-profile consumer brands is a plus.
  • Proficiency with media monitoring and reporting tools, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with social listening and project management platforms preferred.

Who Thrives in This Role

  • An integrated communications thinker who sees the whole picture and is willing to roll up their sleeves.
  • A strategic planner who naturally connects communications activity to business objectives and measurable results.
  • A culturally curious communicator who brings insight and nuance to reaching diverse audiences.
  • A strong orchestrator who can align multiple disciplines, stakeholders, and partners around a shared strategy.
  • A relationship builder with strong Atlanta and Georgia market instincts who balances speed, creativity, judgment, and executional excellence.
