About the Role

We are looking for a

PR Manager

who is proactive, resourceful, and confident in external communications. This role focuses on

media relations and external resource development

, working closely with internal brand and marketing teams to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.

based in Los Angeles or New York

, depending on the candidate’s location and media network.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, socially confident, and comfortable representing the brand externally, with strong media relationships and a solid understanding of the

F\&B / consumer goods landscape

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with key media, editors, journalists, and relevant external partners.
• Act as a primary point of contact for media communications, including pitching stories, coordinating interviews, and handling media inquiries.
• Proactively identify and expand PR resources, including media, platforms, and potential collaboration opportunities.
• Plan and execute PR initiatives aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and key business milestones.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure consistent and effective brand messaging across all external communications.
• Support bilingual (Chinese \& English) PR materials, including press releases, media briefs, and presentations.

Requirements

• 5\+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or related roles, preferably within

F\&B, consumer goods, lifestyle, or retail industries

• Strong media relations experience with a proven ability to build and maintain external networks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in engaging with media and external partners.
• Fluent in both

Chinese and English

, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly proactive, well-organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with strong execution skills and a positive, professional attitude.
