🔍 About the Role

We’re hiring a

Purchasing Manager / Sourcing Specialist

to own supplier sourcing, negotiation, and execution for a fast-growing Amazon-focused eCommerce brand.

This is a

hands-on, operator-level role

. You will work directly with

China-based manufacturers

and be accountable for

cost, quality, timelines, and landed margins

— from RFQs and samples through POs, freight, and delivery into FBA or 3PL.

🧠 What You’ll Own

📌 Source, vet, and onboard overseas manufacturers (primarily China)

📌 Run RFQs and

negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms

📌 Build and maintain

accurate landed cost models

(product, freight, duties, FBA fees, margins)

📌 Coordinate samples, specs, packaging, labeling, and regulatory compliance

📌 Create and manage POs from production through delivery (FBA / 3PL)

📌 Track supplier performance:

OTIF, cost accuracy, quality, defect rates

📌 Proactively resolve delays, quality issues, and cost variances

📌 Drive cost-saving initiatives (negotiation, packaging optimization, freight consolidation, alternate sourcing)

📌 Support inventory replenishment and demand planning with clean, reliable data

📌 Document processes and continuously improve sourcing workflows

🧩 What We’re Looking For

✅

3\+ years

in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain (Amazon FBA / eCommerce preferred)

✅ Proven experience negotiating with

China-based factories

✅ Strong understanding of

landed cost, margins, and Amazon fee structures

✅ Comfortable pushing back on suppliers and holding them accountable

✅ Solid knowledge of QC checkpoints and basic product compliance

✅ Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (cost models, scenarios, tracking)

✅ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused

✅ Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment

✅ Clear communicator who documents decisions and follows through

➕ Experience with Amazon tools (Helium 10, Keepa)

➕ Exposure to EDI, inventory planning, or demand forecasting

➕ Experience sourcing regulated products (home improvement, replacement parts)

➕ Familiarity with
