Role Summary

Responsible for proactive management activities related to procurement and production on warehouse shop activities by on-time purchasing, expediting, and assembly preparation.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Processes Orders to Principals and Suppliers

+ By creating and placing purchase orders and follow up activities to ensure receipt and accurate processing of purchase orders and maintenance of supplier information.

  • Proactively Manages Orders

+ By resolving issues with suppliers, expediting acknowledgement and shipment dates ensuring on time delivery and maintaining weekly updates from suppliers.

  • Provides Inventory Services

+ By maintaining stock levels on stocked inventory as well as related non inventory purchasing and performing inventory activities related to shop order production including issue escalation and resolution.

  • Provide Shop Order Processing

+ By managing dates and on time product for shop orders, preparing shop order paperwork for assemblers on a timely basis and maintaining schedule of shop order work. Liaison with other departments to maintain shop order schedule.

  • Prepare Analysis Reporting

+ By collecting, analyzing and reporting on data on purchasing and product quality data, understanding and reporting on trends to effect improvement as well as root cause analysis and corrective action.

  • Understand and Actively Participate in our Quality Management System

+ By adopting our quality policy and all appropriate elements of our quality management system, dedicating your efforts to the reduction, elimination, and prevention of quality deficiencies, and initiating proper actions to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to our products, services, processes, and quality system. This also includes your timely participation as required in Corrective and Preventive Action Requests, Quality Circles/Teams, and collaboration with other Company Departments on continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Maintain and Develop Professional and Technical Competence

+ By maintaining work instructions \& group procedures including writing, updating, training on a regular basis as well as periodic education workshops and classes.

  • Inform Appropriate NCI Personnel of Market Conditions

+ By reporting customer and competitor activities within the territory.

  • Contribute to Overall Team Effort

+ By actively participating in the pursuit and accomplishment of Company and Departmental Goals as part of the Company’s Annual Strategic Business Plan and accomplishing related results.

  • Participate in the Company's Safety and Health Program

+ By understanding and following the established policies and procedures of our Safety and Health Manual, notifying appropriate Supervisors/Managers of any observed workplace safety and health compliance issues, and implementing appropriate recommendations to help improve our Company’s overall Safety and Health Program

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years customer service -related experience.
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers and carriers.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or Oracle preferred.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated written/verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and move between activities that require immediate response.
  • Ability to be self-directed and contribute to a high performing work team while being team and goal oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with functional stakeholders.
  • Motivated and positive team player
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is critical. Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced, demanding, ever-changing environment.
  • Well-developed conflict management skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills while deploying sound judgement

The starting pay for this position will be between $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
