Job Description

Description:

  • We're looking for a highly motivated Automation Engineer to join Luxoft!
  • You will support the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation solutions for automotive multimedia head units for one of the largest Japanese OEMs.
  • This role will work closely with the lead developer to implement code changes, provide technical support to tool users, and ensure high-quality automation software through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead developer with code writing, updates, and modifications
  • Provide technical support to users of automation tools and platforms
  • Perform quality assurance, troubleshooting, and software development for automation solutions used in automotive multimedia head units
  • Investigate issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve tools, workflows, and overall productivity
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of automation systems and related applications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the automation workspace

Mandatory Skills Description:

  • MUST HAVE Software Development experience.
  • MUST HAVE 5\+ years of Python scripting
  • MUST HAVE: Worked in an

AUTOMOTIVE

software development environment

  • High proficiency in Python to automate day to day tasks and testing activities
  • Experience supporting production tools or internal automation platforms
  • Exposure to CI/CD, debugging tools, and version control systems such as Git
  • Working experience with Agile methodology

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

  • Experience with FastAPI
  • Experience working in Linux environments
  • Experience with React/TypeScript development
  • Working experience with hardware control scripting (I2C, GVIF, Serial)
  • Working experience with in-car network protocols such as CAN, CAN FD and Ethernet
  • Working experience in cloud development (GCP, AWS)
  • Experience with building/training AI agents and ML models
  • Prior knowledge of automated testing for automotive multimedia systems
