Role Overview

We are hiring a Python Developer to build and maintain backend services and data pipelines. The role works on real product systems — clean code, sensible architecture, and the discipline to keep what you ship working tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python backend services, APIs, and data pipelines

• Write clean, well-tested code following modern Python best practices

• Design and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs

• Optimise performance and resource usage across services

• Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams

• Contribute to code reviews and engineering documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2\+ years building production Python applications

• Strong knowledge of Django, Flask, or FastAPI

• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and containerisation (Docker)

• Comfortable with Git, CI/CD, and modern testing frameworks (pytest)

• Pragmatic approach to trade-offs between speed and quality
