QA Automation Engineer (he/she) - Full remote (F/M)

At the Engineering Competence Center, we deliver services and projects for the Automotive, Rail, and Oil \& Gas sectors. Our specialized engineering teams work within project and competency groups, whose activities we manage. We also conduct training and certification programs to enhance the engineering competencies of our consultants.

Position

We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of QA Automation Engineer (he/she) for our client from the biotechnology industry.

Additional Information

Model of work: 100% remote

Offered salary

Salary: from 700 to 750 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.

You’re ideal for this role if you:

• Have 3\+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• Possess strong hands-on experience in Java (must-have)
• Have experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG or JUnit
• Have worked in regulated environments such as IT Pharma, life sciences, or GxP-compliant projects (must-have)
• Understand the specifics of working in highly regulated environments, including strong focus on quality, documentation, and processes
• Are comfortable analyzing requirements and translating them into effective test cases
• Have experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
• Are familiar with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
• Have a very good command of English (B2\+), enabling you to communicate effectively in international teams

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) processes
• Experience in API testing and tools such as Postman or Swagger
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Previous collaboration with distributed or global teams

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests (UI/API) using Java
• Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high software quality
• Analyzing requirements and preparing test cases
• Contributing to the design and continuous improvement of test automation frameworks
• Testing solutions in compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards (GxP, CSV)
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects through resolution
• Supporting CI/CD processes by integrating automated tests into pipelines
