We’re hiring
senior-level Quality Assurance professionals
to support critical nuclear and infrastructure projects at
Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL)
.
This is a high-impact role supporting complex, safety-critical work in
radiological and high-hazard environments
—ideal for candidates with strong
inspection, welding, and NDE backgrounds
.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support
quality assurance \& inspection activities
on complex projects
- Perform
visual inspections (CWI)
and support mechanical/NDE evaluations
- Ensure compliance with
quality standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with engineering, construction, and project teams to drive quality outcomes
- Work in
radiological environments
and support installation-phase activities
What You Bring:
•
REQUIRED: Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
— no exceptions
- Strong background in
NDE, mechanical inspections, or QA/QC
- Experience in
nuclear, DOE, oil \& gas, or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to work
shifts (nights/weekends as needed)
- Comfortable working in
radiological areas (PPE/respirator as required)
What Makes You Stand Out:
- Experience in
DOE or nuclear facilities
- Additional certs (NDE methods, fire stopping, etc.)
- Background in
construction QA/QC during installation phases
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a
Q Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Willingness to work onsite in a secure, regulated environment
Important Note:
This is a
hands-on inspection role (QC/NDE)
— not a traditional design engineering position.
