The Role

Own quality across our mobile app and web platform. You'll define testing strategy, build automation frameworks, and be the last line of defense before features ship to thousands of student-athletes. This is a hands-on role at our Atlanta headquarters - you'll work directly with engineers and product to catch issues early and keep our release cadence fast.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute

test plans

for mobile (iOS/Android) and web - brand deals, merch, payouts, social features

• Build and maintain

automated test suites -

E2E flows with Maestro (mobile) and Playwright (web)

• Own

regression testing

across releases - native builds, OTA updates, and web deployments

• Perform

manual exploratory testing

on physical devices for edge cases automation can't catch

• Validate

API behavior

against specs - response contracts, error handling, edge cases

• Track and triage bugs with clear reproduction steps, severity, and impact assessment
• Collaborate with engineers on

testability

• advocating for test hooks, feature flags, and observable systems
• Monitor

production quality

• error rates, crash reports, user-reported issues - and escalate regressions

Requirements

• 3\+ years in QA/QE

for mobile apps (iOS and Android) - real devices, OS fragmentation, and knowing what breaks in the wild

• Experience with

Claude Code

• Mobile E2E automation
• Maestro, Detox, Appium, or similar
• Web E2E automation
• Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• Comfortable reading

TypeScript

• trace bugs through code, write test scripts, review PRs for testability
• Strong

REST API

fundamentals - test endpoints directly, validate contracts, catch backend issues before they hit the UI

• CI/CD pipeline

experience - integrating tests into build workflows, managing test environments

• Clear, structured communication - actionable bug reports, thorough test plans
• On-site in

Atlanta

with a small, fast-moving team

Preferred

• React Native/Expo

app experience specifically

• Familiarity with

MongoDB

and

PostgreSQL

for data validation

• Performance testing
• load testing APIs, profiling mobile app performance
• Accessibility testing

(WCAG compliance)

• AI-assisted testing tools and prompt-based test generation
• Payment flow testing or

fintech QA
