QSI, Inc. is seeking to hire a

Quality Assurance Engineer

to join the Product Integration Development Department as part of the QA Team. This is a hybrid position, with on-site collaboration required at the QSI Headquarters in Bardstown, Kentucky.

The Quality Assurance Engineer is a position that is responsible for leading and collaborating on the execution of Quality Assurance (QA) Testing strategies to identify issues in our products, and the solutions being deployed to our customers.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will work in conjunction with QSI’s Product Integration Development Manager, the QA team, and the development team to validate QSI’s software solutions and products adhere to the quality standards expected by both our customers and leadership.

This role is an integral piece in defining and executing testing strategies for existing and new solutions to ensure that QSI continues to deliver high-quality products and services to its customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the business needs and goals of QSI’s clients and the functionality of the products/services that are designed to address company and client initiatives.
  • Develop test strategies, test plans, test suites, test cases, and test scripts - providing a high-level of testing and analysis coverage across existing functionalities and new features.
  • Update customer-targeted UAT testing scripts to improve the quality of customer testing for integrations.
  • Participate in conceptualizing and implementing process and quality improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough testing and analysis regarding software, websites, and/or other technical products to identify bugs, defects, and/or other potential issues.
  • Identify appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate product attributes; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Promptly report defects to development team and the Product Integration Development Manager while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and workarounds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Product Integration Development Manager and/or QSI leadership personnel regarding QA and/or business-related objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Remain calm under pressure and evince a proactive and self-starting attitude with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and leverage newly obtained skillsets, alongside a strong desire to keep up to date with industry standards and best practices.
  • Ability to create test plans, test suites, and test cases from project/product specifications and/or verbal communication channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understand the premise, intent, and utilization of QA operations and how they coalesce with product design, development, and delivery processes.
  • Experience with Selenium and Playwright are a plus.

Pay: $30\.00 - $38\.00 per hour
