Quality Assurance Engineer

The department

The Quality Assurance team consists of Quality Assurance Engineers and Inspectors/Metrologists. The department acts as a gatekeeper and advisor to maintain the Quality Standard for parts and products, in close cooperation with Supply Chain, R\&D, and Project Execution.

Key activities are divided into four areas: Release the Product, Manage the Supplier, Solve the Incident, and Measure \& Inspect. This ensures a structured approach to Supplier Quality Assurance and supports high-quality, sustainable products through strong supplier relationships.

What will you do?

You manage supplier performance within your category, follow up on SCARs, and lead supplier development programs (e.g. 4-Blocker method). You also schedule supplier audits and contribute to building long-term supplier relationships.

You are responsible for releasing parts and products via PPAP and qualifying suppliers before collaboration. You use Lean/Six Sigma and 8D problem-solving to handle supplier-related issues.

You also perform supplier and internal audits as a (lead) auditor and report in a fact-based way.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or related field
• 3\+ years of technical experience (electro/mechanical preferred)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar standards
• Experience with auditing or willingness to become a lead auditor
• Familiar with Lean/Six Sigma and 8D problem-solving
• Strong English communication skills
