Job Description
GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Quality Assurance Manager provides technical leadership to ensure products meet defined quality standards from development through production. Own supplier quality performance, testing programs, claims management and continuous improvement across the supply base
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Define QA strategy and annual plan; align with Merchandising and Product Integrity
- Lead \& drive quality direction within Sourcing; resolve quality issues \& communicate delivery risks
- Implement supplier development programs and best practices
- Partner with Product Engineer \& factories to drive \& implement new production technologies to improve efficiency \& reduce cost
- Designs and implements Certified Factory Auditor (CFA) training programs; Train factory CFA \& assess their performance regularly to ensure consistent performance
- Manage testing (wash/print/colour) scheduling \& reporting; recommend additional test when needed
- Support sampling process from proto to size set; assess virtual/physical sample quality
- Partner with 3rd party service provider (e.g. SGS) on selected quality inspection for key programs
- Oversee onboarding of new suppliers for adherence to standards and policies
- Monitor supplier quality KPIs; lead CAPA and follow-up action plans
- Manage claims: investigate root causes, agree corrective actions and compensation with customers, factories \& internal teams
- Ensure timely and accurate QA reporting; maintain QA platform data integrity

NOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Textile technology/engineering background; strong garment construction knowledge
- Ability to diagnose technical/quality issues and make sound decisions
- Leadership \& coaching skills; effective negotiation \& communication skills
- Systems: QA platforms, ERP; good IT/EDP skills; fluent English
