Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Quantitative Developers to work closely with Traders and Quantitative Researchers to build the infrastructure powering semi-systematic trading strategies.

This role sits at the intersection of trading, quantitative research, and software engineering. The successful candidate will own trader-facing platforms and workflows, transforming trader insight and discretionary decision-making into scalable, systematic processes.

You will work directly with traders to understand how they generate ideas, manage risk, and execute trades, and will build the tools, analytics, and infrastructure that allow those workflows to operate efficiently and consistently. Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in trading are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve trader-facing platforms, including live screeners, analytics dashboards, low-latency GUIs, and workflow tooling.
  • Design systems that capture, store, and analyze trader inputs and decisions.
  • Develop backtesting and simulation frameworks.
  • Partner directly with traders and quantitative researchers to identify opportunities for systematization and workflow automation.
  • Drive projects from concept through production deployment, iterating rapidly based on trader feedback.
  • Contribute to platform architecture, code quality, testing, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 4\+ years of professional software development experience (ideally using Python).
  • Experience building production trading systems, analytics platforms, or trader-facing applications.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, maintainability, and system design.
  • Ability to work effectively with traders and researchers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in financial markets and quantitative trading.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on a semi-systematic, hybrid, or discretionary trading desk.
  • Knowledge of derivatives, volatility, commodities, or market-making workflows.
