Quantitative Researcher

About the role

This is a high-impact, technical role within our

QTPILOT

team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing proprietary quantitative trading strategies across Crypto, FX, and Equity markets. Your work will directly drive the firm’s trading performance by turning complex market data into scalable, high-performance alpha.

🚀 What You’ll Be Doing

• Research \& Develop Strategies:

Identify and design systematic trading ideas and alpha signals using advanced statistical and quantitative methods.

• Analyze Deep Market Data:

Mine large-scale historical and real-time data (Level 2 \& Level 3) to uncover market inefficiencies and predictive features.

• Model Building \& Simulation:

Build robust quantitative models and execution logic using Python frameworks.

• Rigorous Testing:

Perform backtesting, simulations, and stress testing to assess model performance, risk, and stability before live deployment.

• Production Collaboration:

Work closely on production systems using C\+\+ to ensure research is successfully translated into stable, live trading environments.

• Performance Monitoring:

Ensure the ongoing profitability and risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ratio, drawdown) of deployed strategies.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Academic Excellence:

Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Relevant Experience:

1–3 years in quantitative research or financial modeling, preferably within a prop trading firm, hedge fund, or systematic trading team.

• Technical Mastery:

Advanced proficiency in

Python

(Pandas, NumPy, SciPy)

• Quant Expertise:

A strong foundation in probability, statistics, optimization, and numerical methods.

• Market Insight:

Solid understanding of market microstructure, electronic trading systems, and order book analysis.

• Execution Focus:

A proactive researcher capable of managing multiple initiatives independently in a fast-moving environment.
