RCM / Collections Specialist / Medical Biller - Remote - Pacific Time Zone

What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Submit timely and accurate invoices to payers for services and products provided
• Evaluate and apply payments received accurately to the patient account
• Follow up on submitted invoices to ensure prompt payment and address any denials
• Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and HIPAA regulations
• Assist with Billing and Collection Training and handle "second level" appeals to payers

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0 - 6 months of previous Infusion Reimbursement or Intake/Admissions experience
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word
• Must currently reside in the Pacific Time Zone to be considered

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience in a healthcare-related billing or reimbursement role
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and compliance practices
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of home infusion services and the related reimbursement process
