Remote Pharmacist - Must reside in New York

• 6-12 month contract to hire
• Start date; May 26th
• Monday-Friday 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Our client is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a fully remote environment. This role is primarily focused on

accurate and efficient verification of prescriptions

, ensuring RX images are correctly interpreted and entered into the system while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary focus:

Review and verify prescriptions by translating RX images into accurate data entry within the system

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness of all prescriptions
• Conduct drug utilization reviews and support patient safety initiatives
• Provide patient consultations as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, including prescription records and patient profiles
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and drug safety standards
• Participate in quality assurance efforts to improve accuracy and operational efficiency
• Protect patient confidentiality and sensitive health information
• Collaborate with internal teams to support pharmacy operations and scaling efforts

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in New York
• PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Minimum of 1\+ year of pharmacist experience (remote verification or high-volume environment preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, especially with prescription accuracy and data entry
• Experience with prescription verification workflows (image-to-data entry) is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, tech-driven workflow
