Remote Python Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Python Developer – Secure Monitoring Tool to support the development of a secure monitoring solution for a customer in the enterprise security and technology services industry. This Python Developer – Secure Monitoring Tool opportunity is ideal for a strong Python developer with experience building integrations, automation, and CI/CD-enabled solutions in a secure environment.

The Python Developer role is a contract opportunity that allows you to work remotely in Eastern Standard Hours.

Responsibilities of the Python Developer:

• Develop and maintain Python-based monitoring and automation solutions.
• Build and support integrations with enterprise security platforms and APIs.
• Create custom automation workflows to enhance secure monitoring capabilities.
• Manage source code using version control systems, including Git repositories.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Ensure solutions follow secure coding standards and are reliable and maintainable.

Requirements of the Python Developer:

• Strong professional experience developing with Python.
• Proven background building integrations and custom automation solutions.
• Hands-on experience using Git for version control and collaboration.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Exposure to or experience integrating with security systems or tools such as SIEM, logging, identity, or related platforms.

Compensation for the Python Developer:

• $50\.00 - $75\.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
