Role Description

The Research Assistant \& Data Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves collecting and cleaning data from internal and external sources, building datasets, and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to support consulting engagements. The individual will work closely with project teams to develop data models, create dashboards and reports, and translate analysis into clear insights for business strategy and growth recommendations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing research summaries, conducting market and industry studies, validating assumptions with data, and presenting findings in a structured, client-ready format. The role also requires collaborating with consultants, documenting methodologies, and continuously refining analytical approaches to improve decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and proven experience in Data Analytics.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics and practical experience applying statistical methods.
• Candidates should possess experience in Data Modeling and working with relational or analytical databases.
• Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills, including the ability to present complex data in simple terms.
• Proficiency with tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Prior experience in consulting, market research, or business analysis is an advantage.
