Job Description

Summary:
You will serve as a Research Physicist within the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- You will conduct research, analysis, modeling, testing and evaluation leading to the fielding of laser-based countermeasures systems to defeat EO/IR-guided threats.
- You will contribute to written technical reports and give oral presentations of the methods and results of mathematical modeling.
- You will perform behavior modeling of missile engagements using mathematical analysis tools such as MATLAB, government software written in C\+\+ and Python.
- You will conduct research on the applications of the electromagnetic and quantum phenomena as it applies to electronic warfare system development.
- You will utilize and develop new features for a high-fidelity physics model of missile engagements.
