Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Full-time associates in role are also eligible for an annual bonus incentive. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical expertise and support to BAH Regional Directors, Executive Directors, BAH Administrators and Managers, and staff. This includes health care activities, training and development of staff, and regulatory compliance issues.

  • Responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Supports the implementation of health care services, policies and procedures in collaboration with BAH Regional Directors, Executive Directors, BAH Managers and Administrators.
  • Conducts regular quality audits through site visits and audits full scope of homecare practice areas to ensure compliance with Brookdale standards and state regulations, appropriate client evaluations, appropriate staffing, staff training, and quality assurance. Reports information to BAH Manager, Administrator, Executive Director, BAH Regional Director of Operations, and VP of BAH.
  • Promotes problem solving for meeting client needs and utilizing Brookdale continuum resources and support systems.
  • Participates in training and mentoring BAH Administrators.
  • Analyzes client incident reports with BAH Regional Director of Operations; assesses trends and assists with process improvement plans.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives as directed by the VP of BAH.
  • Analyzes various quality reports and trends to assist the BAH Regional Director of Operations in process improvement efforts.
  • Ensures compliance with all Infection Control, Universal Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.
  • Assists BAH Managers in writing plans of correction following agency state inspections.
  • Assists in preparing local agency staff for state inspections
  • Trains BAH Managers and staff on policies, forms, admit packets and home care regulations.

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred, from an accredited program, minimum of five years of management or supervisory experience in a health related setting.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business travel.Required to hold a valid Registered Nursing License.
