Summary Of Position
The Human Resources Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the daily administration of employee benefits at IMGR\&C. This includes enrollment, termination, payroll verification, ACA compliance tracking, and carrier/vendor reconciliation and payments.

- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are subject to change at management’s discretion:
- Coordinates benefits enrollment meetings and materials.
- Prepares and distributes benefit packets and ID cards.
- Verifies documentation and payroll deductions.
- Maintains accurate records in systems and vendor databases.
- Reconciles invoices and processes benefit changes.
- Tracks ACA compliance and updates trackers.
- Manages documentation for leaves and FMLA.
- Updates benefits booklets and presentations.
- Provides support to managers and team members.
- Assumes signing authority in the absence of the Benefits Manager.
- Demonstrated commitment to researching and implementing new technologies, including A.I (artificial intelligence), to enhance the operations of Employee Benefits.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Education and/or Experience Requirements

- High School Diploma required.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR or benefits administration.
- Strong organizational, communication, and data-entry skills.
- Possesses the ability and willingness to quickly learn and effectively utilize Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) such as Infinium, UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), DayForce, or comparable platforms. Demonstrates strong technical aptitude and adaptability in navigating complex systems to manage employee data, generate reports, and support HR operations efficiently. Open to training and continuous improvement in HRIS-related competencies.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in all professional interactions. Maintains strict adherence to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations, ensuring the privacy and security of sensitive patient and employee information.
- While direct experience with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is not required, a foundational understanding of its principles is desirable. Shows a proactive interest in learning about FMLA regulations, eligibility criteria, and documentation processes to support employee leave management. Willing to undergo training to develop proficiency in administering FMLA and related leave policies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
- Preference for Mescalero Apache Tribal members and bi-cultural experience.

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. Must be able to use hand held communications devices. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The team member must be able to stand for several hours.
