The Opportunity
To support our entry into the
US market
, we are looking for a
Sales Development Representative
focused on
ice hockey
to help build our commercial pipeline from the ground up. This is a full-time role, with schedule and hours open to discussion depending on the candidate's profile and availability. The role is
primarily remote
, with a
hybrid base in Boston, Massachusetts, particularly during the initial onboarding and training period
.
Frequent travel across the territory is a core part of the job
and candidates must be genuinely
comfortable being on the road
when the sales cycle calls for it.
As SDR, you will identify and qualify new sales opportunities within the ice hockey ecosystem, nurture leads, and collaborate closely with the business development team to drive customer acquisition. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching prospective clients, initiating outreach across multiple communication channels, and maintaining accurate records in our CRM. During the season, the role also includes supporting account management activities with active clients. You will also contribute to refining sales strategies and work toward shared team targets.

Territory and Travel
The primary target territory spans mainly the Great Lakes region through the Northeast, covering hockey-dense states including Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and throughout New England. The majority of prospecting and lead generation is conducted remotely and can be done from anywhere within this footprint. When meetings align, the expectation is to be on-site. This role involves frequent travel across the territory to visit teams, athletic programs, coaches, and medical staff, and candidates should be prepared to move quickly when opportunities open up. Key focus areas include NCAA Division I and Division III hockey programs, USHL clubs, AHL and ECHL teams, and private high schools and hockey academies.
Qualifications
- Strong inside sales and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify, qualify, and nurture prospects
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across the territory when meetings are scheduled
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine ability to build relationships
- Experience in sales or business development with a track record of measurable results
- Self-motivated and able to work independently within a small, fast-moving team
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management processes
- Background as a competitive athlete, athletic trainer, or in a similar sports performance or sports medicine role is a strong asset;
- Interest in sports technology and athlete health
