Swoon is actively hiring a Salesforce Developer to join the team!
What your day-to-day will look like?
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce platform-native tools to support critical business initiatives.
- Build and maintain complex integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Platform Events, and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Salesforce Administrators, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and production-ready applications.
- Lead full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including technical design, coding, testing, deployment, CI/CD automation, version control, and production support in an Agile environment.
- Develop reusable, high-quality, and bulkified Apex code while enforcing Salesforce best practices, coding standards, governance policies, and data quality standards.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and mentor junior developers while contributing to architectural discussions and technical strategy.
- Support Salesforce DevOps initiatives using tools such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DevOps Center to improve release management and deployment efficiency.
What’s Required / Technical Skills
- 5\+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), triggers, batch processing, queueables, and schedulable classes.
- Proven experience designing and supporting complex Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices including trigger frameworks, bulkification, Governor Limits, object-oriented programming, and enterprise design patterns.
- Experience working with Salesforce DevOps and Agile methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control, and deployment tools such as Git, Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DevOps Center.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I \& II certifications required, along with experience working across multiple Salesforce clouds and managing sandbox and production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data modeling, security architecture, SOQL/SOSL, relational databases, and modern JavaScript (ES6\+) development practices.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, AI-related Salesforce certifications, MuleSoft development, and advanced Salesforce architecture certifications such as Application Architect or System Architect.
