A major client of ours is in need of a Salesforce Engineer. This is a remote position but requires previous consulting or service-based experience.
Mid-Level Salesforce Engineer
We are seeking a client-focused Salesforce Engineer to join our growing consulting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems, working directly with clients, and delivering practical Salesforce solutions across a variety of industries.
You’ll work in a collaborative consulting environment supporting both new Salesforce implementations and enhancements to existing environments. Most client engagements are virtual, with occasional travel for project kickoffs and key milestones.
What You’ll Do
- Design, configure, and enhance Salesforce solutions for client environments
- Work directly with clients to gather requirements, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions
- Participate in team-based project delivery alongside project managers, business analysts, architects, and developers
- Support both implementation projects and ongoing managed services engagements
- Optimize and extend existing Salesforce environments
- Coordinate with technical specialists when complex requirements arise
- Deliver high-quality client service in a consulting-oriented environment
Required Qualifications
- 4–6\+ years of Salesforce experience
- Prior consulting or service-based experience required (not solely internal corporate Salesforce support)
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
- Experience with:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Field Service Lightning (FSL)
- CPQ and/or quoting solutions
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements in a matrixed team environment
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience supporting clients in one or more of the following industries is highly valued:
- Manufacturing
- Distribution
- Financial services (especially credit unions or mid-sized banks)
- Healthcare payer / insurance
Certifications
Salesforce certifications are welcomed, but practical experience and consulting capability are valued more heavily than certification count alone.
Work Environment
- Approximately 90% remote/client-virtual work
- Occasional travel for project kickoffs and mid-project collaboration sessions
- Team-oriented delivery model:
- \~70% collaborative project work
- \~30% independently managed client support engagements
