Are you passionate about driving global digital transformation through SAP solutions? Danfoss is seeking a Lead SAP S/4HANA SD Solution Architect to support and enhance our SAP ecosystem across on-premise and cloud ERP platforms.

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA solutions with a focus on Sales and Distribution, Order-to-Cash, Logistics Execution, Billing, Transportation Management, and system integrations. The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support business growth through innovative ERP capabilities. Success in this role requires deep SAP expertise, strong business process knowledge, and the ability to manage complex integrations and change initiatives within a global environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions across Sales and Distribution, Order-to-Cash, Pricing, Logistics Execution, Transportation Management, Billing, and Master Data processes.
• Conduct business process analysis including current-state assessments, future-state design, gap analysis, business blueprint development, and solution recommendations aligned with SAP best practices.
• Lead configuration, testing, deployment, and support activities for SAP ERP solutions, including RICEF development coordination, defect resolution, and change request management.
• Manage integrations between SAP and external platforms including Descartes Transportation Management System (TMS), Edicom e-Invoicing, CRM systems, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and warehouse solutions.
• Create functional specifications, provide technical guidance, develop test scenarios and test data, and support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through incident management, root cause analysis, solution optimization, and collaboration with technical, integration, and testing teams.
• Support SAP S/4HANA Cloud administration activities including onboarding, offboarding, solution scope activation, KPI development, custom in-app extensions, and system governance.
• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of SAP-related projects, enhancements, and strategic digital transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of SAP consulting experience with strong expertise in Sales and Distribution and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with delivery processing including batch determination, inbound and outbound deliveries, stock transfers, order processing, and proof of delivery.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with route determination, IDOCs, output determination, and SAP integration processes.
• Minimum 7 years of experience supporting shipping and logistics business processes.
• Minimum 5 years of experience serving as a functional lead, solution architect, or SAP consultant on ERP implementation projects.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud solutions and integrations involving e-Invoicing, warehouse interfaces, and Transportation Management Systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Experience integrating SAP with Descartes TMS, Edicom e-Invoicing, CRM platforms, and EDI solutions.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management and extended warehouse management integrations.
• Experience leading large-scale ERP implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects.
• SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA Sales, Sourcing and Procurement, SAP Hybris Billing, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Cloud Onboarding, or SAP Activate methodologies.
