Akkodis is seeking a

Scrum Master

for a

Contract

with a client in

Jacksonville, FL.

Candidate must have the ability to drive Agile team facilitation while maintaining clear alignment to product goals and supporting strong coordination across events and approvals.

Rate Range:

$37/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Scrum Master Job Responsibilities Include

• Managing Agile team facilitation by guiding ceremonies such as Daily Scrum, backlog sessions, and retrospectives.
• Driving user story readiness by converting inputs to JIRA AHSH stories and ensuring they meet Definition of Ready.
• Maintaining visibility across boards, dependencies, and impediments to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Enhancing predictability through capacity tracking, size tools, and early escalation of variances.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and milestones in clear, non‑technical language.
• Supporting Product Owners and managers in backlog refinement and prioritization while adhering to governance practices.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 Years of experience required.
• Candidate must have strong capability in end‑to‑end user story readiness, including JIRA AHSH story creation, DoR compliance, and approval routing.
• Candidate must have proven expertise in leading Agile ceremonies, improving flow visibility, and supporting stakeholder communication without jargon.

Pay Details:

$37\.00 to $44\.00 per hour
