We're working with a premier global defense and national security consultancy on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for an outcome-driven Scrum Master to lead an engineering team in modernizing critical defense projects that protect our nation.

In this role, you will champion Agile best practices, utilizing tools like Jira to streamline workflows and facilitate high-impact ceremonies for the NAVAIR market. The Role

• Facilitate core Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure consistent delivery for complex engineering projects.

• Guide the team in creating detailed user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing a healthy product backlog to meet client requirements.

• Use Jira to manage and integrate boards across multiple teams, providing transparency and data-driven insights to senior-level stakeholders.

• Act as a mentor and coach to technical teams, teaching Agile framework concepts and fostering a culture of continuous process improvement.

• Partner with client management and systems engineering teams to manage expectations, define timelines, and provide level-of-effort analysis.

What You'll Need

• 2\+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master for an engineering or software development team.

• Proven expertise in Jira, specifically managing and integrating boards for multiple teams under a single project.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required.

• Strong ability to lead client delivery engagements and communicate effectively with senior-level leadership and DoD stakeholders.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (active clearance is a plus).

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
