Job Title: Scrum Lead

Time Zone: PST (candidate must be able to work Pacific Time hours)

Location: Remote, PST hours

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Scrum Lead to guide and coach Agile teams, with strong hands on AI experience. This person will own the delivery rhythm for a Kanban based team, set clear boundaries, manage dependencies across teams, and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate Scrum and Kanban ceremonies, including daily stand ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.

Act as the primary Scrum leader for the team, coaching team members and product owners on Agile principles and best practices.

Create and maintain clear boundaries for the team and stakeholders, protecting the team’s focus and managing scope, priorities and working agreements.

Run regular dependency checks, identify risks and blockers early, and coordinate with other teams to resolve them before they impact delivery.

Manage and optimize Kanban flow, including work in progress limits, cycle time and throughput metrics.

Use AI tools and AI driven approaches to improve planning, reporting, backlog quality and team productivity.

Partner closely with product owners, engineering leads and business stakeholders to keep priorities aligned and delivery on track.

Track and report on team progress, velocity and delivery health with clear, timely updates to leadership.

Remove impediments, resolve conflicts and build a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

8\+ years of experience in Agile delivery, with a strong track record as a Scrum Master, Lead Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead.

Proven experience leading Scrum teams end to end and working with Kanban teams.

Strong, hands on AI experience, such as using AI or GenAI tools in delivery or supporting AI focused projects. This is a must.

Demonstrated ability to set boundaries with stakeholders and manage scope and expectations.

Strong experience with dependency management across multiple teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort engaging senior stakeholders.

Hands on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.

Ability to work in the PST time zone.

Nice to Have:

Certifications such as CSM, PSM or SAFe.

Experience coaching multiple teams or mentoring other Scrum Masters.

Experience with enterprise or large client environments.
