Job Description
Scrum Master II
Technology Operations and Engineering, Digital Business Operations
Who We Are
At Upbound Group, we are committed to elevating financial opportunity for all through innovative, inclusive, and technology-driven financial solutions that address the evolving needs and aspirations of consumers. Our Digital Technology organization partners closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Innovation, and Growth teams to deliver scalable, high-quality technology solutions aligned to enterprise priorities.
Role Summary
The Scrum Master is a delivery-focused Agile leader responsible for enabling healthy, high-performing teams and ensuring effective, predictable delivery within a scaled Agile environment. This role goes beyond ceremony facilitation and serves as a coach, facilitator, and operational partner to Product, Engineering, Data, PMO, and leadership teams—driving transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while helping teams improve flow, remove impediments, and strengthen execution.
The Scrum Master promotes strong Agile practices, backlog discipline, cross-team coordination, and effective tooling hygiene (Jira and Clarity) while maintaining a clear understanding of delivery risks, team capacity, dependencies, and business impact. This role fosters team accountability, encourages continuous learning and adaptation, and helps create an environment where teams can consistently deliver value while continuously improving how they work
This role serves as both a delivery leader and Agile coach, dedicating approximately 60% of its focus to driving predictable delivery, execution, and operational excellence, and 40% to coaching teams, fostering Agile maturity, and enabling continuous improvement.
How We Practice Agile

- Balance structure with pragmatism to drive outcomes
We Value Practitioners Who
