VEA Technologies is a forward-thinking Digital Marketing Agency with roots in Missouri and Colorado. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled SEO Specialist to collaborate with our team as a contractor at approximately 50 hrs/mo.

As a contractor, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere and set your own schedule while contributing to projects that drive organic growth for our clients.

Job Overview:

This contractor role will focus on optimizing client websites to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic. You’ll leverage your SEO expertise and AI tools to deliver efficient and effective results.

Duties:

• Conduct keyword research and analysis to guide content optimization strategies.
• Implement both on-page and off-page SEO best practices to boost website visibility.
• Monitor and report on website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and more.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO strategies are integrated into content development.
• Use AI software to perform SEO tasks efficiently and scale your work.
• Stay current with SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and emerging tools.
• Complete a few time-sensitive tasks, like blog posting.
• Develop backlink strategy and perform backlink outreach
• Meet your assigned clients' deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 Years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Familiarity with website and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JSON.
• Experience with WordPress, common SEO plugins, and page builders.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects efficiently and autonomously with little oversight.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for SEO tasks and strategy development.

Bonus:

• Experience in e-commerce SEO, Content production, Linkbuilding, or Technical SEO.
• Understanding of the latest AI advancements and their applications in SEO / GEO / AEO.
