Key Responsibilities \& Duties
- Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect organizational assets.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify risks.
- Monitor security systems and respond promptly to incidents, ensuring swift resolution.
- Use leading edge Microsoft 365 Security and Purview technologies to establish and enforce data protection policies to safeguard sensitive information.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into system designs and operations.
- Provide expert guidance on security best practices and train staff on cybersecurity protocols.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies to enhance security strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders, outlining security findings and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles; 8 years preferred.
- Proficiency in security tools and frameworks such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and access control methodologies.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to staying current with cybersecurity trends and best practices.
