Security Engineer - Private Equity Portfolio Company - Up to $170k base

As a Security Engineer here you will focus on two pillars: standing up the SIEM/SOC function and building out the vulnerability management program. This will consist of log management, incident response, managing the outsourced L1/L2 providers, establishing SLAs, prioritization frameworks, building out the documentation library, and laying the groundwork for automation.

You will translate technical risk into business risk for senior stakeholders. Whilst it's a hands-role you will be driving the maturity of the security program, so you'll be thinking strategically as they set up for cloud integration the future.

It's a CrowdStrike and Splunk environment here, so exposure to these products is important. Ideally you'll have a strong background in vulnerability management and incident response.

Remote role operating within EST time zones. Base salary between $140k - $170k.
