About Spacebar Studios

Spacebar Studios is a specialist newsletter agency helping brands build engaged, loyal audiences through email. We work with ambitious clients to craft newsletters that actually get read and deliver results.

The Role

As Senior Account Manager, you'll be the beating heart of our client relationships. You'll own the full client experience — from onboarding through to delivery — acting as the primary point of contact for every client on your roster. You'll bridge the gap between what clients need and what our content and design teams produce, working hand-in-hand with our Operations Manager to keep projects flowing seamlessly.

This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable on a client call as they are diving into a project brief. You'll be commercially sharp, creatively curious, and obsessed with client satisfaction. You will have 1-2 junior account managers under your guidance and leadership.

What You'll Do

Client Relationships

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building deep, trusted relationships
  • Lead regular client calls, check-ins, and strategic reviews
  • Proactively identify client needs, flag risks early, and find opportunities to add value
  • Champion the client's voice internally — ensuring the team always understands what success looks like for each account

Internal Coordination

  • Act as the bridge between clients and the content and design teams — translating briefs clearly and ensuring creative output meets client expectations
  • Partner closely with the Operations Manager to ensure all projects are resourced, scheduled, and delivered on time
  • Support the ops function by flagging capacity issues, timeline shifts, or scope changes before they become problems

Leadership \& Reporting

  • Keep the leadership team informed on client health, project status, and key account developments
  • Flag retention risks and upsell opportunities with supporting context
  • Contribute to agency-wide processes, playbooks, and ways of working as a senior voice on the team

What We're Looking For

  • 4–7 years in account management, client services, or a similar client-facing role — ideally within a creative, content, or digital agency.
  • Strong project coordination skills with an ability to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines without dropping the ball.
  • Excellent communicator — clear, confident, and client-ready in written and verbal formats.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • A genuine interest in email marketing, content, and brand storytelling.
  • Experience working with or alongside creative teams (writers, designers) is a strong plus.
  • Active on LinkedIn
  • (Desired) Experience using Beehiiv or another email newsletter platform
