Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly financial close, recording all costs, preparing journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger.
• Conduct account balance reconciliations and prepare ad-hoc financial reports for stakeholders.
• Manage cash, credit card expenditures, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Support payroll processing and administrative accounting tasks as needed.
• Analyze and synthesize financial data, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with compiling information for tax returns, audits, and sales tax filings.
• Organize contracts and track compliance with vendor and customer agreements.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in expense approval and company-wide accounting policies.
• Document and maintain accounting procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and integrity of financials.
• Support the department with special projects related to financial analysis and operational enhancements.

Must-Have Skills:

• Must reside in EST.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 5\+ years of experience in internal accounting or finance (public accounting \& internal experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting Standards.
• End-to-end ownership of the monthly close
• Prepares

their own journal entries and accruals

• Owns balance sheet reconciliations and close accuracy
• Comfortable running a close

independently

with minimal review

• Experience with accounting in the SaaS or software development industry.

• Familiarity with financial audit and tax preparation processes.
• Process improvement and policy documentation skills.
• Prior exposure to remote work environments or hybrid teams.
