accounting firm based in Cluj-Napoca

, specializing in financial-accounting services for both local and international clients. We are looking for a

Senior Accountant

responsible for the full management of the assigned client portfolio, financial reporting, tax declarations, and active collaboration with auditors.

Objectives

• Full management of the assigned client portfolio, ensuring legal compliance of financial statements and tax declarations, as well as collaboration with internal and external auditors.
• What you would do \& responsibilities
• Preparing and reviewing monthly trial balances.
• Preparing annual financial statements and periodic reports requested by clients.
• Providing financial and accounting consultancy to assigned clients.
• Collaborating with internal and external auditors for the preparation of audit files.
• Calculating and verifying corporate income tax, personal income tax, non-resident tax, VAT, and other taxes, in accordance with applicable legislation.
• Preparing and submitting tax declarations on time and in line with professional standards.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting legislation.
• Experience in preparing trial balances.
• Knowledge of SAGA and SMARTBILL.
• University degree in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial-accounting legislation.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (WINMENTOR, SMARTBILL, SAGA).
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and clear communication skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
