Senior Technical Business Analyst – Law Firm
Overview
Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a newly formed team supporting a high volume of technology and AI-driven initiatives. This role requires an experienced professional who can quickly make an impact, operate independently, and bridge the gap between legal stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between attorneys, business stakeholders, and IT, translating technical concepts into business requirements
- Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and validation across multiple concurrent projects
- Develop process flows, use cases, and functional specifications
- Create wireframes and mockups to support solution design
- Present updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Build cross-functional relationships to drive successful delivery
- Support AI-driven initiatives, including evolving integrations and tools
Required Qualifications
- 5\+ years of Business Analyst experience in legal tech or a similar environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with BA methodologies, process mapping, and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude
Technical Environment
- Tools such as Teamwork, Workfront, JIRA, Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project
- Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
- Exposure to Power BI or Tableau is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Law firm or legal industry experience
- Understanding of legal technology and AI trends
- ILTA involvement is a plus
