Senior Technical Business Analyst – Law Firm

Overview

Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a newly formed team supporting a high volume of technology and AI-driven initiatives. This role requires an experienced professional who can quickly make an impact, operate independently, and bridge the gap between legal stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between attorneys, business stakeholders, and IT, translating technical concepts into business requirements
• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and validation across multiple concurrent projects
• Develop process flows, use cases, and functional specifications
• Create wireframes and mockups to support solution design
• Present updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive successful delivery
• Support AI-driven initiatives, including evolving integrations and tools

Required Qualifications

• 5\+ years of Business Analyst experience in legal tech or a similar environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with BA methodologies, process mapping, and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude

Technical Environment

• Tools such as Teamwork, Workfront, JIRA, Airtable, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project
• Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
• Exposure to Power BI or Tableau is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Law firm or legal industry experience
• Understanding of legal technology and AI trends
• ILTA involvement is a plus
