Senior Construction Manager

Our client is a large, national, institutional real estate company who has been developing projects in the Greater Phoenix market for nearly 40 years. They have several active industrial parks in the local market as well as a very large master-planned project in North Phoenix. This project is starting to take off and our client is looking to add a Senior Construction Manager to their local team.

r will be on-site in North Phoenix and will be the lead Construction Manager for all industrial projects within the master-planned development. Current project includes a $160M, 8-building (800,000 sq.ft.) industrial project followed by a Phase II of similar size/scope. This is a newly created position and a very important role for our client.

Key details:

• Provide construction oversight for all stages of industrial projects
• Oversee 3rd party GC's
• Analysis and oversight of utility infrastructure, offsite improvements and site planning including large master plans
• Support SVP of Development in external consultant oversight (design, engineering, surveying and preconstruction teams), negotiate and award contracts
• Support and/or lead the creation of project schedules
• Oversight of all construction scope including: off-site roadway and utility infrastructure, on-site utility infrastructure, site prep and grading, building core \& shell, build-to-suit and speculative tenant improvements.

Ideal Candidate:

• 7-10\+ years of construction management experience (industrial focus strongly preferred)
• Experience in the Phoenix market and industrial asset class
• Familiar with the local Phoenix industrial market, GC's, vendors, etc.
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or similar is preferred
• *Someone currently with an industrial GC or Developer building large industrial building in Phoenix would be an ideal fit.
