Senior Data Analyst

Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to serve as the analytical backbone for a fast-growing financial services platform focused on business lending and credit products. This high-impact role goes beyond reporting. You will translate complex datasets into strategic insights that directly influence operational efficiency, acquisition strategy, and profitability.

You will play a central role in decoding the “Look-to-Book” funnel, ensuring product features, underwriting strategies, and marketing investments drive high-volume, high-quality growth.

What You’ll Tackle

• Build automated dashboards and executive-level reporting across performance metrics

• Analyze operational and funnel performance to improve conversion and efficiency

• Develop forecasting tools and scenario models to guide business planning

• Conduct competitive intelligence analysis across lending products and pricing

• Partner with Sales, Finance, Risk, and Marketing to analyze won/lost deals

• Design and evaluate A/B testing and champion/challenger product strategies

• Support data governance and foundational data cleanup initiatives

What You Bring

• 3\+ years of analytics experience in fintech, lending, or commercial banking

• Advanced SQL expertise (Snowflake strongly preferred)

• Strong Python experience for data analysis

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight

• Experience analyzing acquisition funnels and credit performance metrics

• Proven ability to present insights to executive leadership

• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in ambiguity

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field

Nice to Have

• Experience in business lending platforms

• Exposure to data governance initiatives

• Familiarity with AWS data environments

• Experience using AI tools in analytics workflows
