Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT solutions using Talend Studio.
• Build data transformation, orchestration, and integration workflows supporting critical business processes.
• Administer and support Talend Management Console (TMC) or Talend Administration Center (TAC) across development, test, and production environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain Talend Remote Engines, Job Servers, and runtime infrastructure.
• Perform production support, incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs for enterprise data exchange and automation.
• Implement messaging solutions using ActiveMQ, Service Bus, or similar queueing technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze data transformation and integration requirements.
• Follow SDLC best practices including Git, CI/CD, code reviews, testing, documentation, and release management.
• Leverage AI tools to improve code generation, data analysis, and engineering productivity.

Required Skills \& Experience

• 3\+ years of hands-on experience with Talend Studio (ETL/ELT, data transformation, orchestration, error handling).
• 5\+ years administering Talend TMC or TAC including deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and release management.
• 3\+ years supporting Talend Remote Engines, Job Servers, and runtime infrastructure.
• 2\+ years of enterprise production support and integration troubleshooting.
• 4\+ years working within Git-based SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and change management.
• 6\+ years performing business requirements analysis for data manipulation, cleansing, and data wrangling.
• 6\+ years of strong Microsoft SQL Server experience including database design and optimization.
• 3\+ years building secure RESTful APIs.
• 3\+ years with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• 1\+ year using AI tools for software development or data engineering workflows.
