Job Description
Duties \& Responsibilities
Create/modify stored procedures based on specifications document.
Create/modify custom gap tables that support stored procedures.
Meet with Business Analyst SMES to review specifications documents.
This is a heavily coding position, so knowledge of Microsoft Trans-Act SQL is mandatory.
Qualifications
5\+ years of experience as a T-SQL programmer.
Good understanding of T-SQL programming.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
Design and develop tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, dictionaries, and complex ad-hoc queries for SQL Server databases.
Experience with appropriate source control and change management methodologies.
Previous knowledge of full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis, design, development, functional testing, pushes to production and operations/maintenance.
Development of quality database solutions.
Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
Ability to analyze existing and new SQL queries for performance improvements.
Develop procedures and scripts for data migration.

Preferred Skills
Solid Background in Healthcare IT, Medicaid, PHI Data, HIPAA, EDI Transactions, Claims Billing
