Job Description
Senior Director of AI Product Strategy \| Remote (US) – Sorry, no sponsorship
Base Salary - $280k - $300k
Rather than building AI for the sake of it, our client is creating products that solve genuine customer problems, deliver measurable value, and become essential tools for the legal sector.
This is an opportunity for an experienced product leader to define an AI product strategy from the ground up, working at the intersection of legal expertise, commercial strategy, and emerging technology.
The Opportunity:
This isn't an engineering role, and it isn't about building AI models. Instead, you'll be responsible for identifying where AI can make the biggest impact, turning those opportunities into successful products, and driving commercial growth.
However - you can 100% apply if you're a tech wizard too!
You'll work closely with engineering, AI specialists, legal experts, sales teams and executive leadership to shape a portfolio of AI-powered products that customers genuinely want to buy.
Warning: – This role will never be dull!
What You'll Be Doing
- Define the vision and long-term strategy for an AI product portfolio.
- Identify customer pain points and translate them into commercially viable product opportunities.
- Lead products from concept through launch and ongoing growth.
- Work closely with engineering and AI teams to turn emerging technology into practical, user-focused solutions.
- Collaborate with legal experts to ensure products solve real industry challenges.
- Develop pricing, packaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with sales and customer-facing teams to drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Use customer feedback and market insight to continuously refine product direction.
- Influence senior stakeholders and help shape wider business strategy.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Product Management leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for bringing innovative products to market.
- 10–15\+ years' experience in Product Management, and a proven track record of launching and shipping successful SaaS products.
- Experience defining product strategy rather than simply delivering requirements.
- Strong commercial instincts with experience around pricing, product positioning and go-to-market planning.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
- A solid understanding of AI and Large Language Models, with enough technical fluency to work effectively alongside engineering teams.
- Experience within Legal Technology, legal services, or a legal background that gives you a deep understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities.
Experience within another highly regulated industry, such as financial services, healthcare or compliance, would also be valuable.
Why This Role?
AI is changing how legal professionals work and is likely to be the market sector that see’s the biggest changes due to the AI revolution.
Interestede? I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks
