Senior Director, Physician Services

Title - Sr. Director Physician Services

Type - Full time (Onsite)

Salary up to - $130,000 - $170,000 yearly \+ Benefits

Job Description :

A minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing physician practices. Live in the Las Cruces, NM area or be willing to relocate within 45 days Ability to (infrequently) travel within the service area to outreach locations. Less than 50 miles generally

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Physician Practice Management operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality care.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance optimization.
• Drive strategic initiatives and support physician integration across the healthcare system.
• Develop and implement training and professional development programs.
• Lead and mentor Market Directors and Managers to ensure effective operations.
• Support practice acquisitions, including due diligence and post-integration planning.
• Act as a liaison between hospital leadership, physician services, and practices.
• Oversee new practice launches and operational readiness.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate reporting and records.
• Optimize EMR systems to improve quality, productivity, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with HR on onboarding, training, and leadership development.
• Manage staffing, conduct site visits, and drive continuous operational improvements.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree AND graduation from a program in Health Care Management or Business Administration
