Senior Electrical Engineer – Substation Design

We are seeking a

Senior Electrical Engineer

with strong expertise in

substation design

to join a leading global engineering and infrastructure consultancy. This role offers the chance to lead complex projects in transmission and distribution, while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.

What you’ll do:

• Act as a

technical specialist or lead engineer

on substation projects (distribution, sub-transmission, and transmission).

• Develop deliverables including

protection \& control (P\&C) and physical substation design

.

• Lead QA/QC efforts, mentor junior engineers, and guide project execution.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques, oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 8\+ years of substation design experience

(P\&C and/or physical).

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or in pursuit).
• Proven track record in QA/QC, project leadership, and client coordination.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE/ANSI standards, and advanced engineering practices.
