About the Job

As a Senior Experience Design Strategist, you'll be a visionary leader, crafting innovative and human-centered design solutions that drive business results and delight users. With a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors, you'll develop strategic design recommendations that inform product, service, and experience development, leveraging design thinking and creativity to tackle complex business challenges.

A Day in the Life

  • Design and build patient support programs and services, auditing existing products and services to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Develop strategic briefs, user research plans, and design session plans to inform the design of new programs, products, and services.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in brainstorming and ideation sessions, using design methodology to frame problems, identify solutions, and develop product and service value propositions.
  • Provide strategic direction for product and service prototypes, mapping customer interactions and using storytelling to articulate design solutions from the user perspective.
  • Apply design psychology principles to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Create service blueprints, experience maps, and other design artifacts to visualize and communicate the design solution.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Service Design, Engineering, User Experience, Strategic Design, or related field, with a certificate in service design, design strategy, or UX a plus.
  • 3\+ years of experience in Experience Design Strategy, Service Design, and Customer Experience, with expertise in engineering services, product design, and visualization.
  • Knowledge of design psychology, including the impact of perception on user experience, navigation, and utilization of products and services.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically, be flexible, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong storytelling skills, using narratives to depict experiences, generate empathy, and bring clarity to complex ideas.
  • A curious and resourceful mindset, seeking to understand user needs and find innovative solutions.

Salary

$80,000 - $110,000 annually.
