Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple financial analysis projects at the same time. At month end, you will be responsible for budget, projection, and actual variance commentary.

Responsibilities

Financial Analysis \& Decision Support

  • Develop financial analyses that support strategic decision-making across the real estate portfolio. Build and maintain financial models used to evaluate property performance, investment opportunities, capital expenditures, pricing strategies, forecasting, and long-term portfolio planning.

Portfolio Performance

  • Partner with Asset Managers to monitor the financial and operational performance of assigned assets. Analyze operating results, identify trends and risks, evaluate market conditions, and recommend strategies that improve profitability and long-term asset value.

Business Planning

  • Support the annual budgeting process, business planning initiatives, and long-range forecasting. Assist in developing property-level business plans and evaluate progress against established financial and operational objectives.

Investment \& Capital Analysis

  • Provide analytical support for acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, redevelopment opportunities, and capital investment decisions. Evaluate financial returns, perform scenario analyses, and prepare recommendations that support sound capital allocation.

Executive Reporting

  • Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations that communicate portfolio performance, investment activity, and strategic initiatives. Present analyses in a manner that enables leaders to make timely and informed business decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Four or more years of experience in real estate, asset management, financial planning and analysis, investment analysis, or corporate finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
