FP\&A Senior Analyst

We are hiring an FP\&A Senior Analyst for a global automotive glass manufacturer at their North American headquarters based in Farmington Hills, MI. Reporting to the Director of North America FP\&A, you will drive the financial analysis that shapes critical business decisions for this industry leader.

This is a hybrid position: Monday through Thursday in the office and Friday remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly forecasting process supported by the Plant Controllers.
• Lead annual budget process deliver results aligned with strategic objectives, implementing ongoing improvements along the way.
• Create and maintain forecast tools and processes to accurately predict future performance.
• Analyze monthly results and variance to budget forecasts, collaborating with Partners and teams to clearly articulate financial performance.
• Manage monthly margin analyses of actual financial results and drivers utilizing price, volume, mix and productivity reporting.
• Partner with management and sales teams to develop, report and analyze key customer and margin metrics and results.
• Lead preparation and analysis of product and customer profitability, driving improvements and consistency across the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• MBA in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
• 7\+ years in financial analysis and complex modeling in a manufacturing company.
• 3\+ years in accounting or financial related experience with product cost knowledge in a manufacturing environment, standard product costing a plus.
• Ability to analyze complex information, draw logical conclusions about business implications and identify actions.
• Strong knowledge of management reporting practices, accounting rules and solid familiarity related to SOX.
• Expert skills in MS Excel.
• Strong skills with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
• Experience working with Power BI a plus.
