Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead and own NuWatt’s visual identity, creative output, and brand integrity across platforms. You will play a key role in shaping a fast-growing eCommerce brand. You will have significant creative influence and the opportunity to build and lead a scalable creative system. The ideal candidate is highly organized, visually sharp, and able to translate technical products into high impact creatives. Success in this role is measured by improvements in conversion rates, brand consistency, and speed of creative output.

Requirements

  • 7-10\+ years of strong experience in graphic design.
  • 5\+ years of experience in managing external vendors, freelancers, and assisting of production artists
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Figma, 3D tools (Blender/C4D), and AI tools is a plus
  • Experience in eCommerce; specifically Consumer Package Goods, Lighting, Consumer electronics, or product catalogs which require exciting and elevated digital graphics.
  • Experience in developing and implementing brand \& visual guidelines
  • Experienced in hands on graphic design experience, with proven success designing for Amazon (A\+ content and product listing images), Shopify, or other eCommerce platforms.
  • Portfolio is required. Must include eCommerce, packaging, and digital work
  • Experience in developing packaging from start to finish for retail shelves, including a high level of understanding of dyelines, in-package marketing material, and installation guides
  • Experience producing high quality and engaging social media graphics
  • Experience producing attention grabbing digital graphics and layout designs for email marketing

Key Responsibilities

Design

  • Design retail ready packaging and product labels and inner packaging marketing material
  • Design strong and compelling listing images and A\+ content (enhanced brand content) using 3D imagery
  • Design spec sheets that are easily legible and easy to grasp for the consumer, making their buying decision very easy
  • Use performance data (click through rate, conversion rate, A/B testing) to continuously improve creative output
  • Design with a strong understanding of conversion driven principles
  • Create engaging visual social media and advertising content, both static imagery and video content
  • Well versed in 3D designs and 3D implementation within static design elements and video content
  • Translate product features and marketing objectives into high-performing, customer-facing visuals
  • Ability to implement stock imagery and leverage AI tools responsibly to accelerate creative production while maintaining brand quality
  • Conceptualize campaign ideas and visual storytelling approaches from scratch

Managerial Tasks

  • Source, manage, and direct freelance designers, 3D artists, photographers, video editors, and in house production artists
  • Well versed in task or project management softwares like Monday.com
  • Hire quality freelancers and production artists as needed to elevate the graphics department

Brand Systems

  • Own the end-to-end creative strategy and execution across all channels
  • Improve and maintain distinct brand guidelines for both our residential and commercial product lines to build and scale NuWatt’s creative function
  • Serve as the final line of approval for visual quality, brand consistency, and messaging alignment
  • Review, organize, and standardize design files for use across digital and print formats

Vendor Oversight

  • Coordinate with overseas manufacturers to ensure accurate execution of packaging and visual assets

Marketing Collaboration \& Promotional Content

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute visuals for:
  • Social media campaigns
  • Email marketing
  • Website promotions and seasonal campaigns

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000\.00 per year
