Requirements
- 8\+ years of professional experience in iOS application development.
- Experienced Senior iOS Developer to help evolve and enhance our card-related mobile experiences.
- Contribute to refining business requirements, implementing regulatory and compliance-driven changes, and ensuring our card solutions remain scalable, future-ready, and aligned with strategic objectives.
- As the dedicated iOS developer within a cross-functional team, play a key role in the development, maintenance, and modernization of native iOS features.
- Working within an Agile/SCRUM and DevOps-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, architects, and fellow engineers while actively participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives and engineering guild activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications and features using Swift.
- Enhance and support card-related functionalities, including regulatory and compliance-driven updates.
- Refactor and modernize legacy codebases to improve maintainability, performance, and accessibility.
- Develop user interfaces using both UIKit and SwiftUI frameworks.
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and shape future product functionality.
- Implement and maintain solutions following VIP Clean Architecture principles.
- Ensure high standards of application quality through code reviews, testing, and best development practices.
- Drive accessibility improvements and ensure compliance with modern interface design standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to engineering guild initiatives, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous improvement across teams.
- Support Objective-C code refactoring and migration efforts where required.
- Strong expertise in Swift and native iOS development.
- Hands-on experience with both UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Proven experience working within large developer communities and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with VIP Clean Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and user interface design principles.
- Experience handling Objective-C code maintenance and refactoring.
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Modern Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors, structured concurrency).
- Previous experience developing applications within the financial services or banking industry.
- Knowledge of card management systems, payment solutions, or related financial products.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments with compliance-driven development requirements.
- Deliver high-quality native iOS features and enhancements within agreed timelines.
- Successfully modernize legacy code and improve application accessibility.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to define and implement future functionality.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, scalability, and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices throughout the assignment.
