Senior Manager, Data Science - FCRM Modeling

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Science - FCRM Modeling to join the team of a leader in the Finance \& Insurance space.

This role will lead a specialized data science team focused on advancing financial crime risk modeling and analytics capabilities.

You will oversee the development of predictive models and analytic solutions, partner with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, and provide strategic insight to executive audiences.

The position also includes responsibility for team leadership, talent development, and performance management in support of stronger risk detection and business outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $123,050 – $201,170 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead a specialized team of data professionals in driving business improvements through data science
• Oversee the development and implementation of data models and analytic solutions
• Manage team performance, including hiring, coaching, and conducting performance assessments
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape and prioritize analytics initiatives to enhance risk detection
• Guide strategic discussions and thought leadership to executive audiences regarding data science initiatives

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or advanced technical degree preferred in a relevant field, such as math, engineering, or computer science
• 7\+ years of relevant experience required; candidates with 5 years of highly relevant experience may also be considered
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Experience in financial crime analytics or related risk management domains is preferred
• Strong understanding of machine learning, including large language models (LLMs)
