Senior Marketplace Account Manager

We are hiring a senior Sr. Marketplace Account Manager for a fully remote role to lead our most complex client accounts, mentor account managers and analysts, and build the operational standards and playbooks that scale our entire marketplace function. This is a hybrid "player-coach" role combining hands-on platform expertise with executive-level strategy, team leadership, and business development support.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Leadership: Own our highest-revenue, most complex client accounts, driving 6–to–12-month strategic roadmaps and leading conversations with senior stakeholders (VPs, CMOs, founders).
• Team \& Process Building: Coach account managers and analysts, and author the SOPs, playbooks, and quality benchmarks used across the organization.
• Cross-Functional \& Multi-Channel Execution: Integrate retail operations seamlessly with advertising and creative teams across Amazon (Seller Central \& Vendor Central), Walmart, and Target Plus.
• Business Development: Lead prospect audits, build pitch narratives, and help scope new client engagements.
• Escalations \& Resolution: Act as the senior escalation point for platform technical emergencies, contract renewals, and at-risk client relationships.

What You Bring

• 8\+ years of hands-on marketplace or e-commerce channel management experience.
• Expert, current platform mastery of both Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central (hands-on execution is required).
• Demonstrated experience managing people who manage accounts (coaching on strategy, prioritization, and execution).
• A proven track record of building organization-wide assets (SOPs, playbooks, training curricula, or frameworks) that outlast your tenure.
• Executive presence with a history of leading high-stakes negotiations, renewals, and client relationship repairs.
• Multi-marketplace fluency (Amazon, Walmart, Target Plus) and advanced quantitative/forecasting capabilities.
